# How can I join a tournament from mobile?

To join a tournament on Checkmate Live using your mobile device, follow these steps:

1. **Access the Tournaments Page:**
    
* Open your mobile browser and navigate to the [Checkmate Live Tournaments](https://play.checkmate.live/tournaments) page.

2. **Locate Available Tournaments:**
    
* Scroll through the list to find a tournament you're interested in.
    
* Tap on the tournament card to read the rules and key details.
    
* Alternatively, tap the **"Ready to Join"** filter at the top to view tournaments open for registration.

3. **Join the Tournament:**
    
* Once you've selected a tournament, tap the **"Join Tournament"** button to register.

**Important Reminders:**

* Ensure you join before the registration deadline.
* Be ready to play at least 5 minutes before the tournament starts.
* After the lobby has closed, the tournament will begin 5 minutes later.

Make sure you're logged into your Checkmate Live account to participate. 
If you haven't registered yet, you'll need to create an account before joining any tournaments.
